Hoagland Town-Wide Garage Sale

Friday & Saturday, April 22 – 23
Sponsored by the Hoagland Chamber of Commerce. The Hoagland Chamber will have lunch available in the Antioch Lutheran Church parking lot from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday only. Menu includes: hamburgers, hot dogs and brats.

Committees continue to meet and work on the planning of Hoagland Days 2016. Certain needs have been identified and we are looking for volunteers to help with the following items.

Adult Beverage Tent:  We need volunteer bartenders!!! Contact Brian Strahm at 639-7356 for more information and to get a volunteer license application.

Auction: The Hoagland Fire Department and EMS are preparing for their 19th annual auction on June 18, 2016. As in years past, we will have two community drop off days where we will be accepting new or like new items for us to include in our benefit auction. The two drop off days will be May 7 from 9 am to 12 pm & June 4 from 9 am to 12 pm. If you have any items that you would like to donate to the fire department, please consider these days to drop off your items. The Hoagland Fire Department & EMS wish to take this time to thank you for your continued support of our department and community.

Guidebook – Advertiser: The deadline for advertising in the Official Hoagland Days Guidebook is Friday, April 15! It is important that your check for the ad accompany the form. See the FORM for prices and further instructions. Parade: Here is a great opportunity for your school, church, club, group or business to show your pride and advertise your services. If you would like to participate in our 2016 Hoagland Days Parade an entry form has been enclosed in this newsletter. Also, we are still in need of a Chairperson for the parade. If you think you may be interested please contact Jack or Dana Rochyby at 639-3111 – they would appreciate your help.

Parking: We are looking for groups to take various shifts to direct traffic in the park. This would be a good service project for a teenage youth group or a sports team. If you or your group is interested, please contact Jack or Dana Rochyby at 639-3111 or Roy Sorg at 438-0699 for more information.
