Queen, Royal Queen, Prince & Princess
The Hoagland Days Queen competition has taken a new turn this year. It has been redesigned to focus on the contestants and their accomplishments, and the awards will come in the form of an educational fund. Each contestant will be judged on a video (created by the contestant), Community Service and a live Question & Answer segment.
Sponsors Needed for Hoagland Days Queen Educational Fund
Solid, man! So, to get in the groove we need some help. We are looking for families and businesses to become sponsors (contributors) to build these EDUCATIONAL FUNDS. Contributors will be recognized at the Friday night Q&A, at the Crowning on Saturday night, in the parade, in signage and in correspondence. Finally, we would be honored to have you present on both Friday & Saturday nights with special seating. Donations of any amount are welcome.
Send to: Hoagland Days Queen Contest, c/o HAAA, P.O. Box 55, Hoagland, IN 46745. Make checks payable to Hoagland Area Advancement Association.
(Inside scoop: the sooner you contribute the more recognition you will receive.)
Dig this! The 2015 Royal Queen will win her crown by being judged on a Kissing Booth (the chocolate kind), Pie Baking Contest and a Question & Answer segment. More details will follow in the days to come. If you would like to become a contestant for the 2015 Royal Queen, contact Carol Schoof (402-6007) or Erin Schoof (409-0454). They look forward to talking to you.
Prince & Princess
The hip and cool tradition of a Hoagland Days Prince & Princess continues. The community helps to choose the winners by donating their change to collection cans throughout the community. Every CENT counts as one vote. To enter your child, contact Carol Schoof (402-6007) or Erin Schoof (409-0454). Remember to subscribe and “Follow HAAA” to get all the latest news.
